Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join our Test Engineering Department, with a focus on Test Fixture Fabrication. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical and electronic skills, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test adaptors for In-Circuit and Functional Test systems
- Implement stand-alone test systems, including mechanical fabrication, wiring, and integration
- Collaborate with the tool shop for mechanical tasks related to test fixture and system development
- Perform calibration of power supplies and other test equipment
- Coordinate with engineering teams at other Variosystems sites
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 in Electronics or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in electronics and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Prior experience in mechanical fabrication is an advantage
