Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed job audits, ensuring accurate billing, costing, and data quality for shipments. The role requires coordination with both internal and external stakeholders, reporting audit findings, and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies. The candidate’s attention to detail and ability to follow structured audit processes will be essential in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting smooth job closures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct file-level audits for accurate billing, costing, and data quality
- Coordinate with stakeholders for audit completion
- Identify and resolve audit discrepancies
- Oversee job closure process
- Prepare daily audit progress reports
- Support improvement of auditing procedures
- Perform ad hoc duties related to audits
Person Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or professional qualification
- Freight and Logistics industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Understanding of financial auditing principles
- Proficiency in Excel and auditing software
- Good communication and flexibility for US working hours
- Prior auditing or finance experience advantageous
