Job Description
Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Texo – Thulhriya team as an Assistant – Finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, follow the scouring, pre-setting, finishing plan, ensure that details of targets, efficiencies, quality requirements are accurately communicated across the shifts in order to facilitate achievement of the required levels of productivity.
- Allocate resources (manpower, machines) so that capacity utilization is optimized and ensure that operators are rotated across roles in order to facilitate the creation of a multi-skilled operator cadre.
- Monitor output of machines through random audits, in order to ensure output is consistent with customer requirements.
- Take decisions, both technically and administratively and ensure that timely assistance is given to the team for the resolving of issues.
- Prepare shift wise and machine wise production reports and identify deviations to do problem solving.
- Inform machine related issues to the maintenance team to solve them at the same time or include them into maintenance schedule.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 1 year of work experience in a similar capacity in the Apparel industry.
- NDT in Textile Engineering.
- Good knowledge in coloration.
