About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager – Business Development to drive growth and spearhead new initiatives. With over 70 years of industry leadership, you will play a key role in expanding our business by building and nurturing relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and driving strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients to identify business opportunities.
  • Use technical expertise to understand industry pain points and convert leads into business growth.
  • Present technical solutions to customers and offer value-added services.
  • Organize seminars and workshops for clients to enhance their operations.
  • Conduct field visits to assess and resolve issues in real-time machinery operations.
  • Prepare business development strategies, annual budgets, and set sales targets.
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients to drive mutual growth.
  • Manage and minimize financial risk by closely monitoring payments and working with internal teams.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive or mechanical engineering sector.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel and work in dynamic environments.
