Job Description

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Financial Accounts Preparation: Demonstrated experience in preparing comprehensive financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and effectively communicating financial performance to stakeholders.
• Tax Compliance and Reporting Expertise: Strong understanding of tax obligations, including VAT filing, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other regulatory tax compliance processes. Capable of managing tax submissions, audits, and ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) and Bank Reconciliation Oversight: Proven track record in managing and monitoring financial areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Proficiency with Financial Systems and Tools (QuickBooks, Google Drive, etc.): Hands-on experience with financial software like QuickBooks, cloud-based solutions like Google Drive, and other essential financial management systems to streamline processes and improve productivity.
• Audit Experience (Preferred): Previous experience working as part of an audit team, providing insight into audit processes, internal controls, and compliance, is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountancy qualified (Strategic level) / CIMA Or ACCA, CMA Part qualified
• 1-3 years of experience in the capacity of an Assistant Accountant / Accountant
