Job Description
Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role with FITS Express – ASC for UPS Sri Lanka in Colombo. The Finance Executive will handle payments, finance operations, bank coordination, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Handling Internal and External Supplier Payments (Online/ Cheque)
- Ensure accurate financial entries and data management of Accounts Payable
- Coordination and Communication with Bank and Suppliers
- Bank Balances and Deposit Details communication
- Accounts Reconciliation, Submission of UPS Internet Claims
- Preparing Weekly Payment Forecast, VAT Invoice Filing
- Maintaining Utility and Recurring Payments schedule
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned timely
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Business
- Part qualification in CA/ ACCA/ CMA/ CIMA
- Minimum two years of experience in Finance
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience in accounts reconciliation
- Excellent Inter-personal and communication skills
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable an advantage
