Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Internal Audit Intern supports the audit team in assessing internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Responsibilities include assisting in audits, preparing documentation, and identifying areas for improvement.

• Assist in planning and executing internal audits.
• Conduct preliminary reviews to assess compliance.
• Perform audit testing under supervision.
• Collect and organize audit data.
• Analyze financial and operational information for discrepancies.
• Prepare audit reports and maintain workpapers.
• Draft clear audit reports for review.
• Support follow-up on audit issues.
• Participate in training sessions related to audit methodologies.
• Keep updated on audit standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates have part qualifications in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA, MS Office proficiency, and good English communication skills. Undergraduates seeking auditing careers are welcome to apply.
