Job Description
Position: Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (Java)
This is a full-time onsite role for one of our client companies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Java and ISO 8583.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience for Software Engineer role, 5+ years for Senior Software Engineer role in developing enterprise Java applications.
- Experience with ISO 8583 (financial transaction messages) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Good understanding of web services, APIs, and databases.
- Experience in the payment industry is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
