Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for OCR and NLU tasks related to medical documents.
• Build predictive models using patient history data, focusing on improving healthcare outcomes.
• Work with large language models and vector databases to enhance natural language understanding capabilities.
• Process and analyze text and time series data, deriving insights for decision-making.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for handling complex PDFs with tabular and text data.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems on AWS.
• Continuously explore new machine learning technologies to enhance solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning, with expertise in NLP, NLU, and OCR.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with large language models, vector databases, and Langchain.
• Experience with text and time series data analysis, especially in healthcare.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• (Bonus Qualifications) Experience with AWS cloud services like S3, Lambda, EC2 or GCP, Azure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling PDFs programmatically with varying structures and content types.
• Knowledge of latest trends in machine learning and data science.
• Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus.
