Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee server environments, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions for optimal performance
- Lead disaster recovery efforts and implement effective backup strategies
- Develop security measures and enforce compliance requirements
- Provide systems support for large-scale IT projects and core business applications
- Proactively monitor systems and implement preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot technical issues
- Stay informed on emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience
- Expertise in server management, virtualization, and backup systems
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with financial services systems or core banking applications is advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive system maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and hybrid solutions
