Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools and systems.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents to determine severity and potential impact.
- Escalate confirmed incidents to L2 SOC Analysts for further investigation.
- Document and maintain detailed records of security incidents and responses.
- Conduct basic malware analysis and endpoint forensics.
- Collaborate with the team to refine and improve monitoring processes.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a security-related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Basic knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
