Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Review performance indicators (API, PPI, and KPIs) in structured meetings to achieve objectives
- Assist in planning and developing categories
- Forecast seasonal product demands and place orders on time
- Negotiate with suppliers for best prices and favorable credit terms
- Maintain market price knowledge and forecast trends
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, escalating when necessary
- Compare with competitors for best pricing
- Maintain records of purchases and pricing
- Plan promotions, evaluate performance, and reduce costs
- Develop supply chain, monitor inventory, and support growth
- Collaborate with marketing, CPU, and accounts for smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics or related field
- 5-8 years of procurement experience, including retail and FMCG
- Strong analytical skills
