Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create SEO-optimised blog posts tailored to specific search queries across diverse topics.
• Write, edit, and proofread all website and social media content with a strong emphasis on engagement and conversion.
• Manage marketing content assets, including sales letters, email marketing copy, subject lines, and brochures.
• Demonstrate expertise in Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimisation, web usability, and information management standards.
• Write, schedule, and post updates across major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop long-term strategies for increasing followers and engagement.
• Engage with industry professionals and influencers on social media to build a robust network. Exemplary project management and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing for web pages, blogs, online marketing creatives, and other digital platforms.
• Creativity with a passion for copywriting, crafting engaging content, and mastering written communication for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to write, schedule, and post social media updates on ikman.lk’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics by combining online sources, interviews, and studies.
• Strong command of English with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Sinhala writing will be an added advantage.
