Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the system
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Deposit cash into the company’s bank account as required
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cash handling
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Advanced Level or AAT qualification is mandatory
  • Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and basic accounting software
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
