Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the system
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
- Deposit cash into the company’s bank account as required
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cash handling
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to the Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Advanced Level or AAT qualification is mandatory
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic accounting software
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
