Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices and payment transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments
- Assist in preparing financial reports for management review
- Enter financial data with precision
- Monitor company expenses for compliance
- Organize financial documents for easy retrieval
- Liaise with auditors during audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification or degree in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in Import and Trading
- 2 years of experience in an Audit firm
- Familiarity with Import costing/Stock Valuation
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Fluency in English and Sinhala; Tamil is an advantage
