Job Description
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective suppliers, negotiate contracts
- Purchase goods/services meeting quality expectations
- Inspect items, implement inventory strategies, and monitor supplies
- Review procurement processes, analyse industry trends
- Liaise with project teams, provide market information for planning
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct evaluations and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or procurement
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes
- Excellent communication in English and Sinhala, strong negotiation skills
- Problem-solving abilities, strong planning and delegation skills
