Job Description

Are you passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and driving technical sales? We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a knack for understanding and addressing technical requirements in the instrumentation space.

Designation: Sales Engineer

Location: Colombo

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their technical needs.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms, ensuring win-win outcomes.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and guide product selection.
• Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate projects effectively.
• Introduce new products based on market needs and prepare compelling sales presentations.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of sales experience in instruments, machinery, or equipment. Industry professionals with 3+ years of total experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Dynamic team player with a strong drive to succeed and excellent analytical skills.
• Technically proficient with a focus on business development and sales.
• Exposure to UTILITY/FIRE/INDUSTRIAL markets is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, computer literacy, and PR skills.
• Willing to travel extensively with a valid driving license.
