Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Finance Executive at FITS Express – ASC for UPS Sri Lanka located in Colombo. The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for tasks related to financial statements, analytical skills, finance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing supplier payments and reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Excess luggage – reconciliations
• Lost inquiry analysis report – weekly
• Preparation of any ad-hoc reports
• Coordination with bank for ad-hoc matters
• Balance Sheet clearing
• Monthly P&L preparation
• Arranging and following up with the investment transfers
• Documentation work for banking matters and others

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Ongoing Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) is often preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance, typically 4+ years, in finance field
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
• Familiarity with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling tools).
• Strong negotiation skills for dealing with banks, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial data to boards, investors, and executive teams.
