Job Description
• To be the Compliance officer of the company for regulatory purpose including Financial Intelligence Unit compliance.
• Developing and reviewing of Board approved Compliance Policies and procedures including the Anti Money laundering corporate Policy and practices
• Coordinating and guiding Heads of divisions to meet compliance requirements of the regulator, SEC and other regulatory bodies
• Preparing a compliance report to Board together with the company’s corporate governance compliance status as per direction periodically as per regulation.
• Ensuring periodic reviews of compliance are performed on a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Ensuring follow up information submissions related to compliance called by regulators on a timely manner.
• Maintain correspondence on Compliance matters in relation to regulator and internal management
• Represent the company as the company’s compliance officer for regulatory purpose and to affect any requirements as a consequence of the position.
• Identification and development of compliance education/training for Company staff.
• Provide training to company officers on key regulations and adoption of policies and procedures to comply with such regulations.
• Knowledge and experience gained on Risk management in the financial services sector we be considered an added advantage
