Job Description
Mechanical Engineer in the motor mechanic maintenance division oversees the design, development, and implementation of maintenance procedures for automotive systems. They ensure vehicles and machinery operate efficiently by diagnosing issues, recommending improvements, and coordinating repairs. Additionally, they utilize diagnostic tools and software to monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing preventive and periodic maintenance schedules.
- Raising job cards for daily repair and maintenance activities.
- Inspecting machinery daily and maintaining records for daily checklists for machinery.
- Coordinating with service providers and agents for breakdowns when required.
- Raising purchase requisitions for all vehicle maintenance items and follow up with relevant departments.
- Maintaining sufficient spare parts stock for fast-moving items.
- Arranging compliance certificates for lifting machines and pressure vessels.
