Job Description

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential suppliers.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts for sustainable services.
• Purchase goods/services meeting quality standards.
• Inspect purchased items and resolve any issues.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies, monitor supplies.
• Review procurement processes for enhancements.
• Analyze industry trends to develop sourcing strategies.
• Liaise with project teams, stakeholders, maintain supplier relations.
• Provide market info for planning.
• Utilize vendor management best practices, conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely & within budget purchases.
• Manage inventories efficiently for uninterrupted supply.
• Conduct vendor evaluations for compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or procurement.
• 3-5 years of similar experience.
• In-depth knowledge of source-to-contract and Procure to Pay process.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan, delegate, and evaluate tasks.
