Job Description
ROLE PROFILE
- Responsible for ensuring accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, SVAT, income tax, and other taxes within deadlines.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Interact with tax authorities like the Inland Revenue Department, handle inquiries, and oversee tax audits.
- Develop tax planning strategies to minimize burdens and maximize benefits.
- Advise management on tax implications of business decisions.
- Supervise a team of tax professionals, supporting their growth.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with preference for CA and CTA qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in tax management, preferably in multinational corporations or reputed accounting firms.
- Expertise in Sri Lanka tax laws and regulations.
