Job Description

Facilitate the Bank’s overall strategic planning process while performing the annual budgeting/re-forecast of the Bank. Ensure the provision of meaningful, accurate and timely information and analysis required for monitoring the bank’s performance and assist in decision making to meet the long term strategic objectives.

The Job:

  • Responsible for preparing the Bank budget, including business segment-wise budgets.
  • Monitor budget variances and initiate corrective actions.
  • Compile reports and provide presentations for Senior Management.

Analyze past trends and performance indicators.

Coordinate market research and competitor research for strategic planning.

Prepare Capex and Opex Budgets, liaising with business lines.

Provide business units with necessary information for decision making.

  • Monitor budgets monthly, report deviations to Management.
  • Prepare roll-over budgets and annual financial forecasts.
  • Identify cost reduction initiatives and drive budgeted cost targets.
  • Coordinate with Group Personnel for Annual Budgeting Process.

The Person:

  • Full/Part qualified in CA/ACMA/ACCA or Post Graduate Qualification.
  • 8-10 years finance sector experience, 5+ years in planning and budgeting management.
  • Knowledge of budgeting techniques and strategies.
  • Experience in system-based budgeting modules.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
