Job Description

Location – Avissawella EPZ

Job Duties:

  • Preparing statutory accounts.
  • Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
  • Recording and filing cash transactions.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt.
  • Invoice processing and filing.
  • Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Be part qualified in CA / CIMA / AAT or a similar Institute.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Audit / Accounting.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet company deadlines.
  • Competent in MS Office package is required and hands-on experience in Quick Book or any other Accounting Package will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong commitment to work is a must.
