Job Description
JOIN WITH THE LEADING ARCHITECTURAL AND FURNITURE FITTING HARDWARE STORE IN SRI LANKA
Location: Slave Island
Since 1902, M. M. Noorbhoy (MMN) has been a trusted supplier of architectural and furniture fitting hardware with a range of over 15,00 products in the store.
JOB PROFILE:
- Work closely with the purchasing team in placing orders for new hardware components from local and overseas suppliers.
- Establishing professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Conducting market research and inventory inspections. Updating records and attending product launches.
- Ensure timely delivery and proper packaging of stock.
- Work closely with customs clearance and documentation procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant qualification in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/ Imports.
- Experience in ERP.
- Over 3 years of procurement experience.
- Previous industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
