Job Description
Join our dynamic construction team as an Assistant Accountant. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support our accounting department.
Position: Assistant Accountant
Location: Colombo 2
Duties:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and recording transactions.
- Processing invoices, payments, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and generating financial reports.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and monitoring actual performance against the budget.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting with audits and tax preparation.
- Entering and maintaining financial data in spreadsheets and databases, and analyzing financial information to identify trends and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Full Qualification or part in CA/CIMA/ACCA/CMA
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
