Data Engineer
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
As a Data Engineer in our Data Insights team:
You would need to do:
- Define data sources and capture methods, document data dictionaries, and contribute to data storage & extraction processes.
- Develop and implement efficient data capture methods, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Assist in structuring and organizing data within databases for optimal querying and analysis.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s data storage practices and related technologies.
- Educate and coach SBU teams on data management best practices and utilize them effectively.
What you need to have:
Degree in Engineering/IT/Data Science or Physical Science.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data management.
Knowledge of cloud-based data storage tools, and cloud platforms like Azure.
- If you have manufacturing industry experience, it would be an added advantage.
