Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Sales Assistant located in Colombo. As a Junior Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in day-to-day tasks, such as maintaining customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, communicating with clients, organizing sales materials, and assisting with sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 01 years of Industry experience. Non-Industry Sales Candidates also may apply
  • Fluent in English written and oral
  • Diploma in Marketing or Management
  • Interest in building a career in Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior sales staff in day-to-day activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and client outreach.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing product information and assistance as needed.
  • Prepare sales documents, proposals, and contracts under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and market trends.
  • Assist in the organization of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Participate in sales training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
