Job Description
A Leading UK based Apparel Company in Colombo seeks a Production Merchandiser to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critical paths with fabric mills/factories.
- Communicate effectively with UK teams and suppliers.
- Coordinate internally for order processing.
- Track shipment status for on-time deliveries.
- Conduct progress meetings and maintain records.
- Visit factories regularly to build relationships.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of production merchandising experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the apparel industry.
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
