Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef at Milky wave in Mirissa located in Matara. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the food production and culinary operations of the restaurant. They will manage and train kitchen staff, create menus, develop recipes, and ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes. Collaboration with the management team to enhance the dining experience for guests is also key.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Ability to develop innovative menus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Food safety and sanitation certification
- Strong attention to detail
