Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all payment vouchers with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in payment details and appropriate allocation of expenses to ledger accounts.
• Recording transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Process invoices and handle journal entries efficiently.
• Conduct physical stock verifications at the end of each month to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage bank transactions and liaise with financial institutions as required.
• Perform periodic reconciliations and verifications to ensure the accuracy of account balances.
• Maintain the accounting system and oversee fixed asset records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements with precision.
• Support management directives with enthusiasm, teamwork, and unwavering loyalty.

Requirements:

• A degree / partly qualification in CA / ACCA or any other similar qualifications.
• Minimum 02-year experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in Coir industry would be an added advantage.
• Should be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong set of values, and leadership qualities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Sinhala & English.
