Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the insurance department’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the insurance team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall mission and goals.
- Oversee the creation and enforcement of insurance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to insurance policies and coverage.
- Develop risk management strategies to protect the organization’s assets and minimize liabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in insurance management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. MBA or professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and claims management.
