Job Description

Location: Katunayake

Business of company: Logistics

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with vendors, clients, ports, Shipping/Air Lines, service providers, BOI, and Sri Lanka Customs.
• Coordinate shipments with clients, service providers, and carriers for seamless operations.
• Optimize container utilization to meet client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures in receiving, storage, and container stuffing.
• Ensure timely trucking or gating of containers/consignments into ports.
• Conduct warehouse system updates and random checks for loading accuracy.
• Manage value-added service requirements promptly.

Qualifications:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 6 passes at GCE or London O/L with “A” pass in Mathematics.
• 1-2 years of logistics & supply chain experience.
• Good Communication skill.

Additional Skills:

• Organizational and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures is a plus.
