Job Description
Education/ Experience And Skills Requirement:
- Minimum eight years work experience in corporate loans or SME divisions in banks/financial institutions
- Experience in managing small teams
- Familiarity with/expertise in a specific sector is an advantage
- Comprehensive involvement in processing credit applications and monitoring loans
- Degree in business/accounting/economics or professional qualification like CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka
- Analytical mind with attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Spread financial statements of corporates in client’s platform
- Analyze financial statements of public and private companies
- Conduct background research to understand borrower sectors
- Monitor covenants, validations, and early warning signals
- Write credit appraisals, risk ratings, narratives for credit approval
- Update SOP, support ad hoc tasks, and automation projects
- Manage a team, plan workflow, ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate clearly with peers and clients
