Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Factory Manager oversees operational management, process optimization, quality assurance, and health & safety within the manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing processes, quality standards adherence, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Ensure optimal productivity, maintain technical efficiencies, and enhance profitability.
  • Process Optimization: Manage OEE, inventory levels, product costs, supplier payments, and stock verifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards through effective quality control.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliances and legal standards.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SAP-ERP is advantageous.
