Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer at Aayu Technologies. The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to quality assurance and software testing. This role is located in Colombo with flexibility for some remote work.

Requirement

• BSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and track defects
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
• Knowledge in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance and testing are a plus

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document and track bugs thoroughly
• Perform thorough regression testing to verify fixes
• Ability to work on multiple projects and work within deadlines as an individual and as a team
