Job Description
The Job:
- Overseeing accounting operations such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Issuing financial statements accurately and on time.
- Maintaining the company’s chart of accounts.
- Assisting in financial benchmark setting and budget management.
- Providing financial analysis for pricing decisions and investments.
- Developing, supervising, and executing organizational goals.
- Maintaining organized accounting records and ensuring accurate transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in AP/AR, Payroll, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Controller, preferably in the construction industry.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and US business practices preferred.
- Experience in financial benchmarking, budget management, and financial analysis.
- Strong organization, prioritization, time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
