Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Receptionist cum Telephone Operator at Mind Plus in Dehiwala. The Receptionist cum Telephone Operator will be responsible for performing receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing excellent customer service. They will also handle clerical tasks and maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Sound academic background with GCE O/L and A/L.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity or related position preferred.
- Possess good telephone manners and interpersonal skills.
- Be well-groomed, personable, friendly, and energetic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Sinhala & English are a must.
- Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.
- Residing near Mt Lavinia will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors: Welcoming guests, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Operating the telephone system: Answering incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate individuals, and taking messages accurately.
- Managing inquiries: Responding to inquiries from callers or visitors and providing information about the company, products, or services as needed.
- Managing appointments: Scheduling appointments for clients or visitors and coordinating with staff members to ensure availability.
- Handling correspondence: Sorting and distributing incoming mail and faxes, as well as preparing outgoing mail and packages for postage or courier services.
