Job Description

Job Functions:

• Playing a senior role, performing actuarial functions inclusive of statutory valuations, regulatory compliance & reporting, experience analysis, pricing management & value reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of actuarial systems for accurate and timely statutory valuations, financial projections, and business planning.
• Support and develop new initiatives on product development, data analysis, management information, and coordination with other core functions of the organization.
• Support the formulation of business plans in line with the company’s strategic direction.
• Support the IFRS 17 project for smooth implementation, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Mathematics/statistics, Finance, Accounting, Investment, Risk Management, or Business Management from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification.
• Membership from a recognized actuarial institute. 3+ years of experience in the field of actuarial, preferably in life insurance.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and prioritize work under challenging market conditions.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet-based cashflow modeling, MS Office, and automation tools like Excel VBA, R, or Python.
• Understanding of Life insurance financial dynamics is an advantage.
