Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily surgery operations, including appointments, staff, patients, room availability, and other professionals visiting surgery
- Support Surgeon/Anesthetist, Nurses to drive excellence and standards within the practice
- Facilitate good care of all patients
- Work closely with Senior Managers and Director Medical Services
- Be accessible for Consultants, Nurses, and Reception Staff and assist with any arising issues
- Maintain standardization of procedures
- Coordinate with other units and maintain relationships for constant communication
Patient Care:
- Respond to patient complaints in a timely manner and action accordingly liaising with the Director Medical Services and Senior Managers
- Ensure effective systems are in place for smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Deal with issues and liaise with patients as required
- Coordinate patient care planning
- Assist with insurance issues
Minimum Entry Qualifications:
- MBBS/MD
- Postgraduate qualification in surgery – desirable
