Job Description
We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and seeking a Manager, Industrial Relations for a Manufacturing/MNC in Colombo. The role involves developing and executing strategies to manage industrial relations effectively, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and resolving disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial Relations Strategy development
- Compliance Management with labor laws
- Dispute Resolution and grievance handling
- Policy Development for industrial relations
- Stakeholder Engagement with employees, unions, and legal advisors
- Training & Development on conflict resolution
- Reporting & Analysis on industrial relations activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law
- Minimum 6 years of industrial relations experience
- Expertise in labor laws, collective bargaining agreements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Leadership and influencing abilities
- Relevant HR certifications are a plus
