Job Description

We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and seeking a Manager, Industrial Relations for a Manufacturing/MNC in Colombo. The role involves developing and executing strategies to manage industrial relations effectively, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and resolving disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial Relations Strategy development
• Compliance Management with labor laws
• Dispute Resolution and grievance handling
• Policy Development for industrial relations
• Stakeholder Engagement with employees, unions, and legal advisors
• Training & Development on conflict resolution
• Reporting & Analysis on industrial relations activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law
• Minimum 6 years of industrial relations experience
• Expertise in labor laws, collective bargaining agreements
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Leadership and influencing abilities
• Relevant HR certifications are a plus
