Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Sales Manager with a strong background in B2B software sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and building strong client relationships.

As in the position of an Assistant Sales Manager, below will be your job responsibilities,

  • Conduct research to identify potential industries and leads, monitor market activities, and track multiple business opportunities
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of prospects, leads, and opportunities
  • Assist management in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams
  • Travel as needed to visit prospects and customers
  • Independently manage Tender, Expression of Interest, and Request for Proposal documents
  • Achieve revenue targets and maintain pipeline coverage
  • Generate leads independently through cold calls and lead generation strategies and collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns
  • Proactively follow up on action items to advance and close deals

Requirements

  • A degree or professional qualification in Business Administration or Information Technology
  • 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in software or business solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Sinhala
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ERP solutions is an advantage
