Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, validating, and analysing data from various internal databases to derive actionable insights. Data Analyst will develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and present findings to stakeholders throughout the organization. 

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable information that help will help Vella to improve operations, optimize strategies, and achieve goals

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean and interpret data using large internal and external data bases
• Maintain data quality and ensure data integrity throughout the analysis process.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
• Present insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs.
• Use statistical techniques and data modelling to uncover trends and patterns.
• Manage multiple data analysis projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
• Work closely with IT and other departments to implement data solutions and improve data infrastructure
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and Tableau would be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field. Having taken online courses (from Coursera, Udemy, etc.) on data analytics and related fields would be an added advantage

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is desired but not required
