The company started with a workforce of 80 employees and initially focused on cutting and polishing Brilliant cut Diamonds for a Japanese company. Over the years, Diamond Cutters has expanded its production and expertise to include the manufacture of Baguettes for the Israeli market and polishing of precision cut Baguettes and tapered Baguettes for the Swiss watch industry and up-market jewelers. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Factory Manager located in Colombo. The Factory Manager will be responsible for production planning, quality control, production management, operations management, and manufacturing operations. The role includes overseeing day-to-day tasks related to the production process, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, quality control, and production management
• Strong knowledge of operations management and manufacturing operations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Experience in the diamond industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

• Location: Panadura
• Residing in close proximity will be an added advantage.
