Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quality Executive

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Quality Manager/Director of Quality Assurance

Job Summary: The Senior Quality Executive in the Food and Beverage industry is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of quality across all production processes.

This role involves leading quality assurance initiatives, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain regulatory compliance and achieve continuous improvement in product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Work with production and operations teams to optimize processes and enhance product quality.

Product Testing and Analysis:

• Oversee the testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
• Manage laboratory operations and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control processes, test results, and inspections.
• Prepare regular reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
• Communicate quality issues and resolutions to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3- 6 years of experience in quality assurance in the food and beverage industry.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
