The Opportunity

Applova is a thriving tech startup in the payments space headquartered in Silicon Valley and we’re looking for DevOps Engineers to join our growing team. The DevOps engineers are responsible for Applova’s cloud infrastructure, availability, performance, implementation and scalability.

About You

A dynamic, customer focused technology enthusiast with an analytical mind who would like to excel in cloud and DevOps space and deliver value to global customers through advanced infrastructure and systems implementation.

What you will be doing

• Deploy, configure, and optimize Applova cloud services on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Support the implementation of robust security measures for cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications and promote a secure culture within the organization.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources using Python, Shell, Ansible, and other relevant technologies on AWS.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes and drive automation initiatives

What you need to have

• 1-2 years of experience
• Adapts well to fast-paced environments
• Demonstrates excellent communication abilities
• Collaborates proficiently across multiple teams
• Exhibits strong critical thinking skills for problem-solving
• Holds a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Possesses solid knowledge of AWS and cloud solutions, with certifications as a significant advantage
• Proficient in Linux, Databases, and Networking
• Experience in containerization methodologies (ex: docker) is a significant advantage
• Skilled in Bash, Python, and Ansible
