Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Organize all showroom operations and allocate responsibilities to the staff

• Manage and guide staff towards maximum performance in order to achieve monthly sales targets

• Assign KPls for staff and staff profiling

• Prepare and control the showroom’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency

• Monitor stock levels and purchases

• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the showroom’s reputation and maintain good customer service

• Inspect the areas in the showroom and resolve any issues that might arise

• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays

• Keep well informed of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the showroom.

• Provide training to showroom staff in order to build team succession

• Ensure that the showroom fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines

• Manage Inventory and stock clearance

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 to 6 years of managerial experience in Fashion Retail

• Knowledge and experience in retail/ sales/ store management best practices in fashion industry

• Speaking ability in Sinhala and English languages. Speaking in Tamil would be an added advantage

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• Excellent organizing, leadership and presentation skills

• Customer management skills
