Job Description
Amplifyn invites a QA Lead, passionate about software quality assurance to join the team. You’ll develop test plans, and detailed test cases collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the development of high-quality software products meeting the unique needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough manual testing of web applications to identify defects and ensure the user interface meets the specified requirements.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for front-end applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality.
- Monitor and report on test automation results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and validate backend processes.
- Perform data validation and ensure accurate data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide clear documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in software quality assurance
- Strong hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation
- Strong knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of testing (Unit, Functional Testing, Component Testing, Integration Testing) and where each one applies
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience in agile/scrum project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field
