Job Description
- Fabric & trim development – Assisting the senior merchandiser in coordinating sample acquisition and record-keeping.
- Processing and follow-up on FIT samples/Red Seals for confirmed orders, ensuring timely approvals based on Critical Path timelines.
- Coordinating and expediting the development, completion, and dispatch of all samples related to development, fit, and marketing with a proactive, timely, and accurate approach to meet requirements.
- Negotiating prices and finalizing terms with customers through effective cost engineering and resourceful methods to align with expectations and meet business objectives.
- Initiating raw material sourcing and negotiating terms for optimal benefits and order security while meeting customer expectations.
- Following up with suppliers to ensure timely approval of raw materials for marketing sample execution as per customer specifications.
- Communicating with manufacturing units to provide procurement details for bulk fabric, trims, etc.
