Job Description
The job holder is responsible for leading the Legal – Litigation Team to ensure effective litigation management in line with business goals and legal requirements.
The Job:
- Understand and align with the bank’s strategic objectives for efficient litigation management
- Provide legal opinions on recovery and court matters
- Prepare all legal documents for recoveries adhering to policies and regulations
- Negotiate settlements and manage litigation costs
- Advise management on legal counsel selection and risk management
The Person:
- At least 15 years of litigation/company law experience
- Degree in law and professional qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication abilities
